"I had chosen International Trading System MA programme for several reasons:
• active involvement of students in the international educational and research projects
• the program " International Trading System " includes not only in-depth study of a number of economic subjects , but also analysis of international law, which will be especially useful for those who aspire to work international governmental, non-governmental organizations or multinational corporations.
• students get knowledge in a number of related disciplines, dealing with matters of customs law, marketing, accounting, financial analysis. Through this, they are able to think much broader, having the ability to solve problems beyond the narrow specialization, and thus be more flexible labor market."

“The “International Trading System” programme is certainly of current importance and meets today’s problems facing the Faculty of Economics, the business society and the state. The emerging of this programme became an absolute must long time ago. The highest evaluation deserves the fact that this programme has appeared within the precincts of St. Petersburg State University.
As the representative of the first graduation of the programme I can tell that the knowledge gained by me here will certainly be useful in my future carrier. Wide scope of problems of world trade mediates understanding of all the mechanisms of modern macroeconomic.
Certainly, not all is ideal. But to be the first is always difficult and at the same time honourable. I am sure that the students in the following years will go in for internships and international conferences more often, that they will take part in current discussions concerning for example the Russian Federation WTO accession more actively.
However already now it is possible to tell: the programme took its place. High competition and prestigiousness of studying here confirm this. And with the accession of the Russian Federation into the WTO the recognition and authority of the programme only will grow.
With a wish of the further success»
